CrossFit
We offer Adult CrossFit, Kids CrossFit and Adaptive Crossfit!
In it’s true definition, “CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity.” But, in it’s practical, everyday life application definition, it’s hands-on fitness at it finest.
Champion City CrossFit prides itself in coaches that care about you and your fitness journey, and helping you reach your goals. CrossFit is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. But, fair warning, once you try it, you may never want to go to the “other gyms” again!
FITNESS IN 100 WORDS
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

Boxing
Boxing isn’t just reserved for the ring anymore. Not only can this sport provide you with an amazing full body workout, but it can help you build your cardio to unprecedented levels.
Over the years the sport has become somewhat of a fitness phenomenon, invading gyms all around the world. And, with its high intensity and quick movements, it really is easy to understand why the activity has grown so popular as a go-to cardio workout.
Plus, you would be surprised to learn just how fun it is to punch something.
Why Boxing Is The Go-To Fitness Workout For Cardio
You hear it all the time: You need to improve your cardio to prevent heart disease, burn calories, and maintain a healthy weight. However, when most people think about cardio they automatically think about running, jogging, or cycling. Well, with all due respect jumping on the treadmill for an hour at a time can be boring.
In addition to this, the whole point of cardio is to place a moderate amount of stress on the heart and lungs. This means that you are challenging yourself and body on a physical level and that is why boxing is so effective for cardio. It does just that and more as long as you keep your heart rate up.

Adaptive CrossFit
Anyone can do CrossFit, regardless of physical restrictions. The phrase “adaptive athlete” refers to those with various physical or neurological conditions, stroke survivors, amputees, wheelchair users, and other long-term ailments that prevent individuals from participating in ordinary sports.
Adaptive Athlete CrossFit was created to show that people with disabilities can perform extreme physical activities if they put their mind to it and are beyond their disabilities.
Youth Empowerment
The Program: The juveniles in Youth Empowerment workout several times a week, the structure of each day is like that of any other CrossFit class. The classes start with a warm-up, a WOD and ends with a wrap up and debrief.
Relationships: Relationships play another big part. Many PO’s along with our CrossFit Coaches workout side-by-side with the kids every class, stressing that the kids get treated like any other athlete that walks in our doors. They are all athletes, no one is a juvenile. No one is different. We create these relationships to get to know the kids on a different level.
Program Mission: The overall mission of the Youth Empowerment program is to reduce the number of repeat offenses of the youth that participate in our program. We strive to provide a new community that welcomes and embraces the youth both while they are on probation, but also when they come off probation.
